You did a fabulous job making everything cohesive and making sure the lighting on everything was consistent. I like how you took modern high quality pictures and fit them into a picture from an older time period, almost as if color photos were around at that time. I think you could create more depth by making the texture lighter in the middle. It seems like that technique has been overused, but I think it would make the piece even better. Also, I think your tag should be a little subtle because the bright red disrupts the picture. I think something neutral like grey or even a light brown will be noticeable but not as distracting. Other than that nice job and I hope this helps!
Nice. I like how this one almost looks like an old painting--the blur and the texture really help with that. And the swirls in the corner really help bring the composition back around. Critique-wise (since you submitted this to a critique group), there are a few details that don't match up. There's a strong light source behind her, but you haven't given her a shadow. And though there's clearly a wind that's billowed out the sails of the ship, her dress and hair are actually blowing in the opposite direction. However, you've done really well matching up the light color, strength, and direction, so good job on that. Anyway. The piece works well, overall. Nice job!
This is beautiful! It is very blurry though maybe if just one object was sharper maybe the woman standing. I like the texture you used and the blurryness does give it a dreamy feel but my eye needs something to focus on. Great work! lovely
